The Montgomery County Association of REALTORS® is the leading local advocate for professionalism and integrity in real estate. MCAR provides the resources necessary to advance members' education, encourage and enforce ethical business practices, preserve private property rights and strengthen the communities it serves.
The Montgomery County Association of REALTORS®, established in 1920, is a not for profit trade association comprised of approximately 2600 local real estate professionals in and around Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, who have made a commitment to their profession by subscribing to a strict Code of Ethics thus earning them the right to use the term REALTOR®.
The Montgomery County Association of REALTORS® functions as the local arm of the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® (www.parealtor.org) and the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS® (www.realtor.org) and is one of the largest REALTOR® Associations in Pennsylvania. Products and services provided by MCAR include, convenient access to state-mandated real estate transaction documents, administration of the region-wide SUPRA lock box program, professional standards enforcement, educational programming, industry news services, and legislative advocacy through the Suburban REALTORS® Alliance (www.suburbanrealtorsalliance.com) which protects the interests of both REALTORS® and consumers alike.
